The KODAK Label ERA M50 has turned out to be a fantastic addition to my home organization setup. It’s super compact, doesn’t take up much space, and is really intuitive to set up and use. One of the biggest pluses is that it comes with 12 extra rolls, so I don’t have to worry about running out of labels anytime soon – perfect for someone who goes through a lot of labels! Printing is fast, clear, and crisp, and the labels have a decent adhesive that holds well on various surfaces like plastic and cardboard. A minor downside is that the app can occasionally be a bit glitchy and could use a bit of a polish. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to connect, but once it’s up, it’s smooth sailing. Overall, it’s a solid little machine for both home and small business use. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to streamline their organizing process.
Can't do colour or put your own images. But perfect for simple labels
I received this Kodak Label Maker a few months ago. Following directions included, I easily downloaded the app. (Quick download also). Unfortunately I kept getting an error on my cell (pls see screenshot image) stating my Bluetooth didn’t recognize app. I blamed myself thinking I’d failed to read product specs thoroughly. I have an older iPhone, an 11 Pro which I’ve purchased repeatedly because I love the camera. However, after doing some research, I was unable to find definite specs for compatible (or not) cell phones. Frustrated, I put printer to the side and forgot about it for a few wks. On my next attempt, I just decided to ignore the error message. Well, that worked! If for some reason you get the same error, just bypass it and go directly to app. I was able to print without any issues. As a former graphic designer, I’m amazed and in love with the HUGE amount of fonts available on this little printer - including my favorite, “Impact.” This label maker charges up quickly (cord is included). It’s small but hefty, constructed well and the print quality is excellent. I’m glad I didn’t give up on this little guy. After a short period of trial and error, I’m now able to create useful, easily read labels. I’m now a very happy, label-printing nut.
